The "Le Brassus 8 Days" allows appreciation of the in-house "Cal.13RO" movement through its see-through caseback. This was Blancpain's first manufacture caliber, unveiled in 2006. It enhances accuracy with a titanium balance wheel (free-sprung) and ensures a 120-hour power reserve by incorporating three barrels. The Côtes de Genève decoration on the mainplate and the gleam of rubies set in gold chatons are also exquisite.

The automatic version of the in-house movement, "Cal.1315," powers the renewed "Fifty Fathoms" introduced in 2007. Like the manual-winding "Cal.13RO," it provides a 120-hour power reserve via three barrels.
