Japanese Quality, Inherited | REGAL Gallery

The "2504," crafted for approximately 50 years until today. It's rare to find shoes with such a long lifespan globally, and there are even anecdotes of people inheriting them through two or three generations.
The first model of the "2504," shown in the foreground, was developed in Japan to fit Japanese foot shapes, based on the original Brown model in the background. Both are preserved at the Regal Corporation headquarters.
A prime example of the Goodyear welt construction, boasting over 100 years of history.
On the left is the current model "2504" (¥24,000), and on the right is the new spin-off model "04NR" (¥28,000). While the basic design, including the iconic thick stitching around the laces, is inherited, a comparison reveals how the form has evolved into a more modern and stylish silhouette.
