<strong>Mai MUKAI</strong><br> President, Lalitpur Co., Ltd. Born in Miyagi Prefecture in 1982. Launched the natural cosmetics brand Lalitpur, originating in Nepal, in 2013. Following the Great East Japan Earthquake, she collected approximately 10,000 cosmetic items donated by 40 manufacturers and delivered them to disaster-stricken areas, where she also conducted workshops. Received the AVON Women of the Year Award and the Sotokoto Lohas Design Award Grand Prize in the Human Category in 2012. http://lalitpur.jp/
<strong>Yuuna OKANISHI</strong><br> Calligrapher and artist. Began serious study of calligraphy at age seven. Studied under Tochigi Shunkō and obtained her master's certification while in high school. Studied ink wash painting under Sekizawa Gyokusei. Has received numerous domestic and international awards, including the Rose de Monaco Award at the 9th Monaco-Japan Art Festival 2015, commemorating the 10th anniversary of the enthronement of H.R.H. <strong>Koichi FUTATSUMATA</strong><br> Space and product designer. Born in Kagoshima Prefecture in 1975. Based in Fukuoka and Tokyo, he leads both the interior design firm Case-Real and Futatsumata Studio, which specializes in object design. His work spans a wide range of fields, including interiors, architecture, furniture, and products. Recipient of numerous awards, including Domusweb/Best of Japan (2016, Milan) and Domusweb/Best of 2015 design (2015, Milan). http://www.casereal.com/
<strong>Masataka HOSOO</strong><br> Director, Hosoo Co., Ltd. Born into the Hosoo family, a long-established Nishijin weaving house, in 1978. Began working on new business ventures in 2009. He develops fabrics based on obi weaving techniques and materials for overseas markets, which have been used in Dior and Chanel stores designed by architect Peter Marino. He is actively involved in domestic and international projects as a member of "GO ON," a project by young successors of traditional crafts. http://www.goon-project.com/
<strong>Kaie MURAKAMI</strong><br> Creative Director. Born in 1974. After working at Miyake Design Studio, he founded the branding agency SIMONE INC. in Tokyo in 2003 and THE ESSENTIALS. in Hong Kong in 2011. He handles branding and digital strategies for numerous companies both in Japan and abroad. Recipient of the GOOD DESIGN AWARD, among others. He is a founder of the SAVEJAPAN!
