Founded in 2003 in Neuchâtel, Switzerland, AZIMUTH is a watch brand that draws design inspiration from motorsports, robots, and space, blending playfulness with advanced manufacturing techniques. In 2023, marking its 20th anniversary, Muraki Co., Ltd. became the importer, finally bringing the brand to Japan, much to the anticipation of watch enthusiasts. With prices starting in the one million yen range and an annual production of approximately 1,000 units, its rarity is a significant part of its appeal. Signature collections include "AUTOMOBILE," "MR ROBOTO," and "SPACE," each boasting a distinct and unparalleled design.

The "AUTOMOBILE" collection draws inspiration from the sleek curves and details of 1960s racing cars and high-end automobiles. The dial, reminiscent of automotive instruments, is paired with a sporty strap, with multi-layered "car" motifs such as twin turbos, headlights, and speedometers intricately expressed throughout the timepiece.

The "MR ROBOTO" watch is inspired by nostalgic tin robots. Its exterior features a design evoking a robot's face, with details on the case and crown resembling winding screws, offering a charming, gadget-like appeal while maintaining the core functionality of a true timepiece.

The "SPACE" collection boldly expresses a profound fascination with and aspiration for the cosmos. The case shape evokes a spaceship cockpit, while the dial features motifs reminiscent of black holes, distant galaxies, and mysterious orbits, creating a grand narrative akin to a science fiction epic.
