Jean Rousseau, a French leather goods manufacture, has launched "Atlantis," a watch strap made from a new material that offers both high waterproof performance and durability. They have also begun accepting custom orders.

Jean Rousseau's new "Atlantis" model significantly enhances the waterproof performance and durability of their 2018 "Water Repellent Alligator" water-repellent leather. It is available with alligator and rubber as base materials.

The key to its technical performance lies in the core material used inside the strap. While conventional watch strap cores are made of leather, "Atlantis" uses a waterproof material. It also offers excellent quick-drying properties, drying three times faster than conventional leather straps.

Furthermore, while sewing stitches typically use nylon or similar materials, "Atlantis" employs a water-resistant material. This ensures it can withstand immersion in water for up to 60 minutes without water ingress, preventing color fading, transfer, or quality degradation, and maintaining comfortable wear for the watch strap.

With its elegant look and wide range of colors, "Atlantis" is a reliable companion not only for the rainy season but also for activities near water.
