Intricate Designs Inspired by Nature
Chaumet's new precious watches for 2013 are born from a collaboration with Swiss master artisans who nurture rare savoir-faire and artistic decorative techniques. Within a creative world of boundless imagination, the splendor of jewelry and the mastery of high watchmaking are exquisitely fused.
The new "Attrape-moi" collection captivates with dial designs that are like poetic stages for the creatures of nature, featuring meticulous decorative arts such as enamel work, guilloché, miniature painting, and engraving.
Each butterfly motif tells a different story on the dial through rich expression and exquisite detail: the "black and yellow butterfly motif" with elegant, iridescent butterflies flitting across the dial; the "black butterfly motif" with striking geometric patterns formed by graphic lines; and the "blue butterfly motif" where playful butterflies dance in a blue gradient.
Other pieces include the "dragonfly motif," where an innocent dragonfly hovers within an elegant movement; the "cherry blossom and mayfly motif," as if a mayfly savors a precious moment of its short life perched on a cherry blossom branch; and the "moon and insect motif," where a seawater pearl's mother-of-pearl disc illuminates a lapis lazuli dial adorned with stars.
"Attrape-moi": Where creatures perform elegant ballets, composing the poetry of nature.Jewelry Watchesare available from the end of March 2013.
