Harry Winston timepieces, with their supreme beauty and originality, captivate enthusiasts just as its jewelry does, making them a distinguished presence in the watchmaking world. In 2009, in addition to the new "Opus 9" from the collaboration series with external creators, the company unveiled "Histoire de Tourbillon 1," featuring a double tourbillon mechanism as the first in the new "Histoire de Tourbillon" collection. This powerfully underscored its unique position not only in jewelry but also in the realm of complicated watches.

This model challenges the limits of precision in mechanical watches by combining two tourbillon escapements, positioned at a 25-degree angle from the baseplate, and rotating the escapement itself at nearly double the usual speed, once every 36 seconds. It features a dial with hour and minute hands on the front of the case, as well as an indicator for hours, minutes, and seconds on the back.
