Flowers given eternal life through freezing

Following their 2012 collaboration, Delfina Delettrez has partnered with yoox.com once more. Born in Rome in 1987 as the fourth-generation heir of the Fendi family, she quickly showcased her talent, working at Chanel before presenting her first jewelry collection at the Parisian select shop Colette in 2007.

Her collections are characterized by a signature blend of "organic" and "geometric" elements, crafted from motifs symbolizing Delfina herself, such as passion, travel, and dreams. This collection is no exception; inspired by a walk through a winter garden, she created a novel and glamorous line featuring flowers and insects encased in ice-like resin.



The collection includes rings, bracelets, necklaces, earrings, and brooches. Adorned with frozen flowers, the collection captures a perfect moment in time, balancing winter and spring.

A short film, "Black Gold," offers a glimpse into this world. Collaborating with American director and stop-motion animator PES, the film surrealistically depicts delicate flowers and insects moving freely in an imaginary landscape, breathing life into the collection.

"Nature is the most precious jewelry. The first jewelry any girl wears is a daisy crown. This collection revisits nature and childhood, allowing us to wear items from the past that connect to the future," says Delfina Delettrez. These flowers and insects, frozen in time like modern fossils, complete an emotionally rich collection imbued with eternal life.
