"The Tiffany Diamond" Makes Its Japanese Debut in a New Setting

Founded in New York in 1837, Tiffany & Co. has left an indelible mark on jewelry history, notably with the revolutionary "Tiffany Setting" that showcases diamonds in their full brilliance. Today, the brand continues to captivate with its sophisticated jewelry and silver pieces.

Symbolizing the brand is the 128.54-carat Fancy Yellow "Tiffany Diamond." To celebrate its 175th anniversary, this magnificent diamond has been newly set into a necklace and will be unveiled in Japan. This marks its first public appearance outside the United States in its new design.

In addition, archival pieces, imbued with Tiffany's craftsmanship and beauty and cherished by celebrities, will be displayed concurrently. Among the 55 historical works are the "Fleur de Mer Brooch," gifted to the late actress Elizabeth Taylor by her husband in 1965; a garland-style necklace crafted around 1903 for the prominent Wade family, lavishly adorned with platinum and diamonds; and a collection of exquisite jewelry by the legendary designer Jean Schlumberger.
