Video Clips and Parties to Celebrate
Chaumet has been an official partner of the Académie des Arts et Techniques du Cinéma, the organization behind the César Awards—often called the French Oscars—since 2007. With the César Awards ceremony approaching on February 25th, Chaumet continues its support for the film industry by championing 32 emerging talents, including Audrey Lamy and Ana Girardot, who have been nominated for the "Most Promising Actor and Actress" awards by the "Révélations" selection committee.
The highlight of the "Révélations 2011" project, the annual video clip and photoshoot featuring the 32 new faces, was helmed by American filmmaker Zoë Cassavetes, known for her acclaimed film "Broken English." The 60-second video clip, set in a college environment, was screened in over 400 cinemas across France for approximately two weeks starting January 19, 2011.
Following the César Awards, Chaumet will host an evening gala at its flagship boutique on Place Vendôme in Paris, in the Le Grand Salon, and a dinner party at a hotel to celebrate the nominees' achievements and future endeavors. This elegant event, a distinctly French affair, will see prominent figures from the French film industry appear as personal sponsors alongside the young actors and actresses. The dazzling display of young actresses adorned in Chaumet's jewelry is also expected to captivate guests.
