Equipped with a chronosprint measurement function
This is a novel sports watch that breaks away from Daniel Roth's previous image of complex watches with a classic taste. The case, a brand trademark, is a "double oval" shape combining two ovals, boldly modernized with features like a crown guard.
It is equipped with a proprietary movement featuring a chronosprint function that allows reading elapsed time up to 12 hours in hours and minutes, operated by a push-button at the 7:30 position. Additionally, a big date display is provided at the 12 o'clock position on the dial, inspired by the design of Kendo masks.
Self-winding, stainless steel case & calf strap, ¥1,995,000, scheduled for release this autumn.

BRAND HISTORY
Founded in 1989 by Daniel Roth, a watchmaker so brilliant he was hailed as the reincarnation of Abraham-Louis Breguet.
Roth, who spent his childhood in Nice, France, was captivated by Breguet's work and aspired to become a watchmaker. After graduating from watchmaking school and completing his military service in France, he moved to Switzerland, the heartland of watchmaking, where he honed his skills at Jaeger-LeCoultre for about a year. After working for a component manufacturer, he joined Audemars Piguet. His talent truly blossomed as he was involved in the development of ultra-thin movements. His reputation eventually reached France, leading Chaumet in Paris, which was then undertaking the revival of the Breguet brand, to entrust him with the task of recreating Breguet's complex timepieces.
Roth's achievements extended beyond restoring Breguet's pocket watches. He succeeded in bringing them back to life by dismantling existing Breguet pocket watches, deciphering their structures, and redesigning them in wristwatch sizes. In this sense, the foundation of the current Breguet company can be said to have been laid by Roth. After dedicating approximately 14 years to the mission of reviving the Breguet brand, Roth established his own private brand in 1989, as mentioned earlier. He presented his signature complications, and his unique double-oval case design also garnered acclaim, marking the beginning of his truly independent path.
He continued to work as an independent watchmaker for many years, but the Daniel Roth brand was acquired by the Bulgari Group at the end of 2000. Now, backed by a major corporation, the brand is actively releasing works that further enhance its unique identity.
