Challenging convention: Audi and Ippudo launch the Audi Q2 "#BreakTheMold" collaboration campaign.
Audi Japan and Ippudo, the ramen chain with locations nationwide, are launching an unconventional collaboration for 10 days starting April 5th.
"#BreakTheMold" is the tagline for Audi's new compact SUV, the Q2, set to launch in Japan soon. Ippudo resonated with this challenge to a new genre.
IPPUDO Q2: A Collaboration Food Supervised Entirely by Ippudo
The "IPPUDO Q2" features special whole-wheat flat noodles and a broth made with tonkotsu, soy milk, and curry powder.
Toppings include a diverse array of ingredients: fruits such as bacon, apple, pineapple, strawberry, blueberry, and grapefruit; vegetables like cilantro and broccoli; and even chocolate, soy milk cream cheese, Parmesan cheese, balsamic cream, and cereal.
With its ingredients and appearance, it's a curious dish that could be mistaken for pasta or dessert. Yet, the blend of ingredients and secret sauce is said to result in an indescribable deliciousness.
Adding the accompanying warm soy milk tonkotsu soup allows for a delightful change in flavor, ensuring a satisfying experience.
This collaboration is available at only nine Ippudo locations across Japan.
Furthermore, each restaurant offers a limited quantity of just 10 servings for lunch and 10 for dinner.
Priced at ¥1,600 (excluding tax), it's a premium offering, but one that promises to be well worth the cost.
This is an opportunity to experience the world of the Q2 through its cuisine, ahead of the official domestic debut of Audi's new compact SUV.
