A Masterpiece Named After a Legendary Yacht Race: The "Admiral" "Gun Blue Color" Japan-Limited Edition Arrives!
CORUM, a watch brand highly regarded for both its aesthetic appeal and superior technical prowess, is releasing a Japan-limited edition of its "Admiral" series. This collection is inspired by the "Admirals Cup," one of the world's most legendary and demanding offshore yacht races. The new model will be available in mid-November.
In tribute to the "Admirals Cup" and the spirit of the sea, CORUM launched the "Admirals Cup" sports watch collection in 1960.
The "Admiral" series, a continuation of this legacy, features high technical capabilities such as push-buttons for precise time adjustment, chronographs, and automatic movements. Its distinctive design elements, including the dodecagonal case and the international maritime signal flags adorning the dial, express CORUM's elegant and sporty identity.
The "Admiral Legend 42," launching this time, is a Japan-limited edition. This model features a "gun blue" bezel, the conceptual color of the "Admiral" line, making the international maritime signal flags stand out more prominently compared to the standard models.
About the Admirals Cup
The Admirals Cup, one of the most legendary and demanding offshore yacht races in the world, began in the UK in 1957.
In homage to this legendary yacht race and the men of the sea, Corum introduced the "Admirals Cup" sports watch collection in 1960.
Although the race is currently on hiatus, the collection is cherished by many yacht racers, including French skipper Loïck Peyron, a current racer, and Ben Ainslie, a British Finn class medalist.
