SMAK! is an acronym for “SEKIGUCHI & MEDICOM TOY
ARTISTIC MONCHHICHI PROJECT featuring
KAORI HINATA!”.
A special program that periodically releases
artistic Monchhichi!
The inaugural product for this initiative is
the "HAPPY GIFT BOX," featuring a design
by Kaori Hinata, who is also the creative director for SMAK!.
This design won the "Grand Prize for Best Monchhichi" in the illustration category
of the "1st Monchhichi Dress Design Contest" in 2008.
The "HAPPY GIFT BOX" is a faithful reproduction
of that award-winning design!
To enhance detail fidelity, an M-sized body
has been adopted, and to allow for flexible posing,
internal plastic joints, "Pokipoki," have been incorporated!
Furthermore, Sekiguchi has specially prepared
a special item using SMAK!-exclusive boa fur!
