Born January 10, 1985, in Tokyo
Born to father Isaburo Hanayagi, a Japanese dancer,
and mother Kayo Koyanagi, a ballerina,
both of whom were stage performers,
he grew up in an artistic household and received
gifted education in Japanese dance, ballet, and oil painting from a young age.
At 14, he moved to the United States alone to study,
graduating from Westtown School.
He enrolled in the University of the Arts
for graphic design,
earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Performing Arts
before graduating.
He made his Broadway debut as the first Japanese performer
in the globally popular illusion show "The Illusionist."

Currently, he is active as a comprehensive artist, including stage actor for popular musicals such as Touken Ranbu, artist, and designer.


In 2022, 2023, and 2024,
his solo exhibitions held at "DRELLA Art Gallery"
featured unique works that fused Eastern and Western influences,
and all pieces sold out.
