A limited-time collaboration event is being held at "LEXUS MEETS," Lexus's first brand experience facility, featuring "VERMICULAR," the Made in Japan cast-iron enameled pot that has surpassed 300,000 cumulative orders.
This collaboration, realized through the resonance between VERMICULAR—born from the skills of Japanese artisans at a long-established foundry—and LEXUS, stems from a shared corporate spirit that values Japanese craftsmanship.
At this event, a POP UP SHOP will open in the "STEER AND RING" boutique, offering VERMICULAR's "Oven Pot Round," as well as the "Vermicular Ricepot," which not only cooks delicious rice with a single touch but also allows for various cooking methods like steaming, low-temperature cooking, and fermentation through its dedicated cooking modes.
Additionally, the concept cafe "THE SPINDLE" will be offering a "Musi Pot-au-feu Curry," one of the "Musi Cooking Menus" that brought VERMICULAR global recognition, and "Roast Beef Donburi," exquisitely cooked using the Ricepot's low-temperature function. Guests can experience and savor the flavors that have earned worldwide acclaim.
Furthermore, on Saturday, October 6th, a talk show titled "LEXUS meets VERMICULAR ~From Craft to Experience, the Challenge of Made in Japan~" will feature Kunihiro Hijikata, president of Aichi Dobyo Co., Ltd., the company behind VERMICULAR's global success, and Tomoharu Hijikata, vice president.
The session will explore VERMICULAR's strategies and development story, which led to the creation of world-class products from a small Japanese factory, touching upon the commonalities with LEXUS's manufacturing philosophy that leverages "Japanese craftsmanship" and its pursuit of becoming a luxury lifestyle brand.
