J-WAVE 81.3FM will air a special program commemorating the release of "Star Wars: The Last Jedi."
With the December 15th worldwide release of "Star Wars: The Last Jedi," the year's most anticipated film, FM radio station J-WAVE (81.3FM) will air a special program, "J-WAVE SPECIAL \"STAR WARS\" WE ALL LOVE," for approximately two hours starting at 6 PM on Thursday, May 4th.
This special program is a grand celebration of "Star Wars Day," established on May 4th (May the 4th) in honor of the iconic line from the films, "May the force be with you."
On the day, a free-entry event, "J-WAVE presents \"STAR WARS DAY\" TOKYO," will be held in conjunction with the broadcast at Roppongi Hills Arena. The band "Flower" will perform on a special stage within the venue.
They will deliver a special live performance.
Additionally, the program will feature a Star Wars medley by the brass band "Gen-Minamoto," which primarily performs film music, and a collaboration with world-renowned guitarist Marty Friedman.
Furthermore, for women new to Star Wars, there will be stalls offering fortune-telling, nail art, balloon art, and food, all under the theme of \"STAR WARS DAY\" MATSURI.
The special stage will also host a fashion show featuring model Miyu Ikeda, known as \"Michopa,\" and actress Maika Yamamoto, who will wear creations inspired by Star Wars designed by Kunihiko Morinaga of \"Anrealage,\" making it an event enjoyable for women as well.
