Edible art. nostos books hosts the "TOUCH THE EATABLE ART" fair.
From October 9 (Monday) to October 22 (Sunday), the used bookstore "nostos books" in Matsushinjinja-mae, Setagaya Ward, Tokyo, will host the "TOUCH THE EATABLE ART" fair.
"EATABLE ART" refers to sweets.
In collaboration with "cineca," a Western confectionery shop in Asakusa that creates story-driven sweets inspired by films, they will present an art form to be savored with both sight and taste.
For this fair, cineca has chosen Woody Allen's masterpiece "Midnight in Paris" as the theme for their sweets.
The protagonist, Gil, finds himself transported to 1920s Paris, a time when artists like Picasso, Dalí, and Modigliani gathered, and the cultural arts flourished.
Sweets inspired by the writings and collections of these great artists from that golden age, along with their beloved palettes and colors, will be available for a limited time.
Furthermore, cineca's new creations, inspired by Jean Cocteau's film "The Blood of a Poet," which appears in the movie, will be unveiled for the first time.
This event offers enjoyment for both art lovers and those with a sweet tooth.
Why not experience this world through your eyes and palate?
