Refreshing summer-designed sweets abound. Fauchon's summer sweets arrive.
From FAUCHON, the Parisian purveyor of fine foods founded in 1886, comes the "Summer Fauchon" series, featuring an abundance of mango and lemon, rolling out sequentially.
Sweet & Sour Summer Sweets
From Fauchon's signature éclair series, the Éclair Mangue Banane will be available for a limited time starting Wednesday, July 19.
Inside the delicate choux pastry, a lightly sweetened caramel cream and mango sauce infused with lime are encased, offering a refreshing finish after a gentle sweetness.
Topped with a marigold, a flower that blooms in early summer, it further enhances the summery mood.
In addition to mango, a lineup featuring plenty of lemon will also be introduced.
Particularly noteworthy is the new Lemon Stollen Citron, a novel take on the traditional Christmas baked good, designed to be enjoyed even in summer.
Made with French lemon peel, cultured butter, honey, and pistachios, it strikes a fine balance between refreshing acidity and flavor, with a light texture perfect for summer tea time.
Other offerings include "Bichons" (mango and citron), a regional pastry from near Lyon, France, featuring shell-shaped puff pastry filled with lemon or mango cream, and "Citron (Lemon Cheese Cream)," a refreshing lemon cake finished with lemon icing and piped with lemon cheese cream. These sweets are perfect for a light treat even in the heat.
Why not indulge in Fauchon's 2017 summer sweets?
