ARTISTS' FAIR KYOTO 2024, an artist-led art fair set in the historic city of Kyoto, will present the "ARTISTS' FAIR KYOTO 2024 Mynavi ART AWARD," an award that recognizes artists dedicated to creating new forms of art, with support from its main sponsor, Mynavi Corporation.

The "Mynavi ART AWARD" selects outstanding artists from among the works exhibited at "ARTISTS' FAIR KYOTO 2024." Since its inception in 2021, the award, supported by its main sponsor, has encouraged the creative activities of artists engaged in new artistic endeavors and provided support for solo exhibitions for the grand prize winners.
At the "Mynavi ART AWARD" held in 2023, Kei Uruno, recommended by advisory board member Yuichiro Tamura, received the grand prize. A solo exhibition by Uruno is currently being held at MYNAVI ART SQUARE in Ginza, Tokyo.

This year's award jury, comprising Shihoko Iida, Yu Takehisa, Yasuyuki Nakai, and Junya Yamamine, will join director Noboru Tsubaki to select the award-winning works from those exhibited at "ARTISTS' FAIR KYOTO 2024," aiming to further support the artists' careers.

The award ceremony for the "Mynavi ART AWARD," open to all, will be held on February 29, 2024, at the Kyoto Museum of Culture, Annex, which has served as the main venue. The ceremony will offer insights from the judges on the appeal of the works and the selection criteria, as well as new perspectives on appreciating art. It will also be an opportunity to get an early look at the award-winning works and artists.
