Tokyu Plaza Kamata celebrates its 50th anniversary with commemorative events, including a screening of a short film.
Tokyu Plaza Kamata, celebrating its 50th anniversary in November 2018, will host a special commemorative event, the "50+50 LOVE KAMATA FAIR," starting November 3rd (Saturday, holiday).

Free Screening: "Let's Meet Under the Ferris Wheel ~Life is Like a Ferris Wheel~"
Based on a winning entry from the "LOVE KAMATA AWARD," which solicited short stories and episodes themed around "intergenerational connections nurtured by the town" set in Kamata, this film was brought to life by a talented staff.
Starring young actors Nao and Kudo Asuka, the short film "Let's Meet Under the Ferris Wheel ~Life is Like a Ferris Wheel~" was filmed in and around Kamata, including Tokyu Plaza Kamata. It will be screened for free on November 3rd (Saturday, holiday) and 4th (Sunday) at Tokyu Plaza Kamata's rooftop amusement park, "Kamataen."
Gourmet Festival to Enjoy the Long Autumn Evenings
In conjunction with the film screenings, a gourmet event will also be held, featuring food and drinks from Ota Ward, where Tokyu Plaza Kamata is located, and its sister cities.

Additionally, food trucks will offer warm sake perfect for autumn nights, craft beers, and accompanying dishes from Ota Ward's sister cities, such as Misato Town in Akita Prefecture and Toumi City in Nagano Prefecture.
Other highlights include a giveaway for free rides on the "Ferris Wheel of Happiness" at the rooftop "Kamataen," a raffle with no losing tickets, Happy Bags sold at various shops, and 50th-anniversary sales and novelty gifts, all designed to express gratitude for the past 50 years.
