Bulgari CEO Jean-Christophe Babin Visits Kindergarten Built by Bulgari and Save the Children in Zaatari

Bulgari CEO Jean-Christophe Babin visited a kindergarten built by Bulgari and Save the Children in Zaatari.

Zaatari, the largest Syrian refugee camp in the region.

Established in 2012 to temporarily house Syrians fleeing civil war, the camp spans 5.2 square kilometers and is home to approximately 80,000 people.

Education is a right for all children.

With a strong belief in the value of education, Bulgari and Save the Children have continued to support Syrian refugee children in Jordan since 2014, focusing on kindergarteners in Zaatari, and began support in the Azraq refugee camp in 2017.

To date, Bulgari and Save the Children have invested $3.7 million (approximately 407 million yen).

They have built and rebuilt three kindergartens in Zaatari and one in Azraq.

Feeling a strong sense of urgency, Bulgari CEO Jean-Christophe Babin made his first visit to witness the activities within the refugee camp firsthand.

Working tirelessly for the children and their rights, so they can not only dream of a better future but also realize it, Babin announced during this visit that Bulgari would donate $1.2 million (approximately 132 million yen) to Save the Children in 2018 to further support the organization's activities in Zaatari.
