Play the World, Learn the World

This program offers children who dream of making their mark on the world a unique experience through "Magic: The Gathering." Wizards of the Coast aims to foster their intellect and sensibilities by providing opportunities to engage not only with language and international affairs but also with foreign cultures, values, and atmospheres.

The four selected Youth Ambassadors from across the country will participate in a 7-day, 5-night overseas program in Seattle, USA, during their summer vacation.

They will visit world-leading companies such as Microsoft and Amazon, as well as Wizards of the Coast, the manufacturer of "Magic: The Gathering." They will also have opportunities to interact with employees at these companies through "Magic: The Gathering."

This is a special initiative for children, organized by the company behind "Magic: The Gathering," which has a large fan base in Japan, including figures like Tetsuro Itodani, an 8-dan Shogi player, and Daisuke Sasaki, an executive officer at LINE Corporation.

The program is open to children aged 10 to 15 who are interested in the world; prior experience or knowledge of "Magic: The Gathering" is not required.

The application deadline is June 15 (Thursday).
