From Saturday, April 28th to Sunday, May 6th, Tokyo Rainbow Pride 2018, Japan's largest LGBT event and a festival celebrating the diversity of "sex" and "life," will be held.
This event is themed "LOVE & EQUALITY."
A record 213 companies and organizations from Japan and abroad, including Shiseido, JT, JAL, Mizuho Financial Group, Sony Interactive Entertainment, Google, Facebook, and AIG, are sponsoring the event.
In addition, the number of applications for floats in the parade on the 6th has increased from 23 in 2017 to 37, with an estimated total attendance of over 130,000 people.
Throughout the period, various events will be held at Yoyogi Park in Shibuya, Tokyo, as well as other facilities and public spaces.
