New York-based hamburger restaurant Shake Shack will open its first Kansai location on June 1, 2018, at the Hanshin Umeda Main Store.

Since opening its first Japan location in 2015 along Gaien Icho Namiki, Shake Shack has expanded to Tokyo and Yokohama with its carefully selected ingredients, high hospitality, and stylish store design.

It has become a "community gathering place" where local people can casually meet.

Shake Shack Umeda Hanshin store, befitting its debut in Kansai, is located on the street facing Midosuji, Osaka's main thoroughfare.

The interior features large openings throughout, creating a harmony between the vibrant Umeda cityscape and the dynamic Shake Shack visible from outside.

To commemorate the opening of the Umeda Hanshin store, Shake Shack will also release limited-edition items that express Osaka in its signature style, including an Osaka-exclusive T-shirt and limited-edition Concretes (original ice cream mixed with toppings).
