Ruinart, the Champagne house, presents its collaboration with contemporary artist Liu Bolin, unveiled for the first time in Japan.
Ruinart, the world's oldest Champagne house, presents a collaboration with Liu Bolin, the contemporary artist from Beijing, China, globally acclaimed as 'The Invisible Man.' This unveiling takes place at "KYOTOGRAPHIE Kyoto International Photography Festival 2018," a prestigious international photography festival held in Kyoto, a city renowned for its rich culture.
The artworks will be publicly exhibited in Japan for the first time at "y gion," a hub for international connections and new cultural expressions, from Saturday, April 14th to Sunday, May 13th.
Additionally, a Ruinart Rooftop Bar will be open for a limited time at the same venue.
In August 2017, Liu Bolin, visiting the Champagne region for the first time, spent over ten days at Ruinart, the oldest Champagne house, located in Reims.
He created eight camouflage performance art pieces, incorporating elements such as Ruinart's unparalleled 'savoir-faire,' the passionate dedication of its winemakers, its 'human aspect,' 'history,' and 'culture.'
At the "y gion" venue, Liu Bolin's artworks will be on display, alongside the Ruinart Rooftop Bar set up on the rooftop.
Guests can enjoy Ruinart Blanc de Blancs and Ruinart Rosé by the glass or bottle, paired with Ruinart's culinary offerings.
