"I wasn't athletic as a child, and I always felt inferior to others in everything I did."
The main video features Miura discussing her childhood, her rigorous training at TRIBE TOKYO M.M.A., and her feelings during her debut match.
The video also delves into how Miura, who felt inferior from a young age, encountered martial arts and how she confronted and overcame her feelings of inadequacy.

Miura Shares Her Life Beyond Fighting Through YouTube and Instagram

Miura hosts live streams on YouTube, where she discusses martial arts with fans and chats about her recent uploads.

Miura explains her reasons for using social media: "I thought that if I used various social media platforms, people who don't know about martial arts might watch, and it could serve as a catalyst for them. That's why I started YouTube."

Miura's channel also offers glimpses of her sparring sessions and collaborations with athletes from other disciplines. Her cooking videos, a stark contrast to her in-ring persona, are also posted, offering a different side of her personality.

It seems that Miura's posts have inspired people who had never watched martial arts before to become interested and even watch her matches. "I was so happy when someone told me they were scared to watch women fight but could now do so because of me."

Miura is gaining new fans through social media and feels she is effectively conveying the appeal of martial arts.

• Height: 157 cm
• Weight limit: 56.7 kg
• Origin: Japan
Ayaka Miura never dreamed of becoming a professional martial artist, as she wasn't particularly athletic as a child. However, at the suggestion of her father, a huge fan of watching martial arts on TV, she began practicing judo and eventually achieved the rank of third-degree black belt.
She encountered mixed martial arts at the age of 22. A mixed martial artist came to the chiropractic clinic where she worked for treatment. As she learned more about the sport, her interest grew, and she joined a gym.
Less than two years after joining the Tokyo-based gym "TRIBE TOKYO M.M.A.," she made her professional debut, winning her first match with a submission in under 90 seconds. She trained under Ryo Chonan, a former two-division champion of the DEEP world title. After accumulating victories in Japanese promotions such as Pancrase and DEEP JEWELS, she joined ONE Championship in February 2019.
