Single malt Scotch whisky Glenmorangie is embarking on distillery expansion plans to mark its 175th anniversary.

Founded in 1843 in the Scottish Highlands by William Matheson, Glenmorangie single malt Scotch whisky is built on a philosophy of blending tradition with innovation.

It uses only Scottish barley and is produced with the hard water drawn from its own on-site water source.

Renowned for being "Unnecessarily well made," its meticulous craftsmanship results in a whisky with a fruity, floral character that captivates a wide range of fans, from beginners to connoisseurs.

This year, celebrating its 175th anniversary, Glenmorangie is commencing distillery expansion plans to further its pursuit of exceptional whisky production.

At the groundbreaking ceremony held in early July, Glenmorangie CEO Mark Orange stated, "Glenmorangie has built upon its 175-year history and is now stepping forward into the next 175 years. The distillery expansion is a significant stride on our path to future success." Philippe Schaus, CEO of Moët Hennessy, expressed his anticipation for this key business initiative within the group, saying, "The expansion of the Glenmorangie distillery is one of Moët Hennessy's important investment plans for the future, and it is a business plan that will drive the future growth of the Glenmorangie brand."
