The new and main building Galleria opened on Tuesday, September 25, 2018, creating the "Nihonbashi Takashimaya S.C.," a new urban shopping center with four buildings.

On Tuesday, September 25, 2018, the new Nihonbashi Takashimaya S.C. building (specialty stores) opened, marking the birth of "Nihonbashi Takashimaya S.C.," a project symbolizing the "urban development strategy" promoted by the Takashimaya Group.
With the addition of the new building (specialty stores) to the Main Building (department store/specialty stores), Watch Maison (department store), and East Building (department store/specialty stores), it will become a new urban shopping center of approximately 66,000 square meters across four buildings.

A total of 114 specialty stores are scheduled to open in the new building and the Main Building Galleria, including brands making their debut in Japan or opening for the first time in a commercial facility. *As of Monday, May 28, 2018
