Introducing 75 Varieties of Tokyo Station Exclusive Rice Bowls! The "2nd Tokyo Station Donburi Grand Prix" is Back This Year
November 10th (Friday) is "Good Donburi Day."
In commemoration, Tokyo Station is hosting the "2nd Tokyo Station Donburi Grand Prix" to determine the pinnacle of Tokyo Station's donburi offerings across its "Kitchen Street," "Kurobei Yokocho," "Kitamachi Dining," "GranRoof," "GranRoof Front," "GranAge," "Gransta," "Gransta Marunouchi," and "Kitte Granche" areas.
Expanding on last year's themes of "Harvest Autumn Donburi," "Appetite Autumn Donburi," and "Unique Donburi," this year introduces five new categories: "Compact Donburi," perfectly sized for women, and "Makunai Donburi," inspired by staff meals. A total of 75 varieties from 72 restaurants are featured.
A diverse collection of "Tokyo Station Donburi" has gathered, where each restaurant expresses the flavors of autumn and their unique characteristics through "donburi," a traditional Japanese culinary art.
During the event period, which runs until October 25th (Wednesday), diners of eligible donburi menus can participate in the judging and vote to decide the "No. 1 Donburi" among the 75 offerings.
The Tokyo Station Donburi Grand Prix is a limited-time event running until November 19th (Sunday), so don't miss out.
