Nicolai Bergmann Flowers & Design presents a nearly 10-meter-long pink ribbon flower art installation at Kiyomizu-dera Temple.
Nicolai Bergmann Flowers & Design, led by Danish floral artist Nicolai Bergmann, is presenting a pink ribbon flower installation at Kiyomizu-dera Temple in Kyoto until Monday, October 1st, as part of the Estée Lauder Group's breast cancer awareness campaign.
At Kiyomizu-dera's west gate, a large floral ball visually represents the campaign's key art. From this, a floral installation cascades like a ribbon, adorned with a gradient of pink flowers such as roses and carnations.
In Kyōdō, there's also a participatory project to create a work of art together with visitors.
Visitors can write messages of hope on pink ribbons and tie them to the many bamboo stalks reaching upwards.
This year's breast cancer campaign theme is "Time To End Breast Cancer #TowardsABreastCancerFreeWorld ~Entrusting Messages to Flowers~."
We encourage you to visit Kiyomizu-dera and use the floral installation as an opportunity to discuss breast cancer with your loved ones.
