Familiar Co., Ltd. (Location: Chuo-ku, Kobe; President and CEO: Tadahiko Okazaki) has decided on the theme and new product information for its Spring/Summer 2018 collection.

The concept is 'color of time'.
Each 'time' has its own 'color,' and each color holds precious memories. Through a collection that incorporates 'seasonal colors' that evoke the feeling of the season, we aim to add vibrancy to the lifestyle surrounding children and propose items and experiences that will remain vividly in the memories of children and their families, alongside the seasonal colors of each moment.

◆ January New Collection
The theme for the January and February seasons is 'fruits'.
January is a time when people tend to go out for more formal occasions to celebrate the New Year. We propose styles that can be worn both formally and casually for daily use.
For this joyful season, filled with opportunities to gather with loved ones for New Year celebrations, we express delight by incorporating 'red,' inspired by the seasonal fruit, the strawberry. We also mix in 'dark blue,' representing the changing colors of the sky throughout the seasons, for a polished look that stands out at events and outings.

For babies, we propose an elegant casual style with easy-to-mix-and-match separate items.
For boys, a sophisticated marine-inspired look is achieved with a dark blue knit cardigan featuring a striking sailboat art on the back.
For girls, a striped dress paired with a boa vest in our original check pattern offers a stylish and warm option.

For toddler boys, we have a style featuring a trendy green hoodie, unisex marine-themed striped t-shirt, and easy-to-wear indigo-toned long pants.
For toddler girls, a sophisticated t-shirt with a large ribbon and ruffles is paired with a reversible skirt of tulle and check fabric.
The check fabric used in the skirt is also available for boys' shirts, allowing for coordinated sibling outfits.

For school-aged boys, we offer a black and ivory striped hoodie suitable for both daily wear and outings, paired with wrinkle-resistant light blue shirts and beige long pants.
For school-aged girls, a trench coat with a lining and original check pattern on the cuffs, perfect for coordinating with mothers, is paired with a navy pinstripe shirt and trendy green skirt.



◆ February New Collection
February is still chilly, but we propose styles that evoke the excitement of spring's arrival and inspire family outings. With strawberries, a key seasonal fruit, as the keyword, strawberry motifs are abundantly used in girls' clothing and accessories.

The strawberries on the toddler dresses are individually hand-stitched using a felled seam technique for a three-dimensional effect. The gingham check dresses and shirts are perfect for outings.
For boys, we express the freshness of spring by combining the sky blue of the season with pastel colors. The toddler shirts are a luxurious piece, featuring tapes of over 10 seasonal fabrics meticulously attached to the front panel.
