The "Leather Canvas" series, produced and sold in limited quantities for the first time in two years, features 2-way bags that leverage the unique qualities of their combined materials.

With "lightness to carry in summer" as its theme, meticulous attention was paid to material selection, design, and craftsmanship.

The canvas and supple, oil-finished leather, two distinctive materials, can be enjoyed as they age.

Beyond its refined quality and durable construction, this exquisite piece is packed with thoughtful details like ample storage and a comfortable carrying experience, making it perfect for daily use.

The main material, "sumi-dyed washed canvas," is a fabric woven on a traditional power loom in Kurashiki, then sumi-dyed (plant tannin dyed) in Kyoto, and finally washed in Hiroshima to achieve a supple finish.

It is characterized by its rich, varied tones, and as it is used, the sumi dye oxidizes, allowing you to enjoy the deepening texture over time.

The durable and luxurious materials, born from the fusion of artisans' techniques, are meticulously crafted into bags by Tsuchiya Kaban's own artisans.

The products are scheduled to go on sale in limited quantities starting July 21, 2018 (Saturday) at 11 directly managed stores nationwide, with an online release on July 23, 2018 (Monday).
