Relive the Emotion of the May Grand Sumo Tournament: Nissan Unveils 14 Types of "Skyline Kenjōmaku" Inspired by Thirty-six Views of Mount Fuji
At NISSAN CROSSING and the Nissan Global Headquarters Gallery, a limited-time exhibition will feature the "Skyline Grand Sumo Prize Banners" that were displayed at the recent May Grand Sumo Tournament.
A total of 14 types of prize banners were produced.
Thirteen of these, featuring successive Skyline models, are inspired by Katsushika Hokusai's "Thirty-six Views of Mount Fuji," a representative ukiyo-e artist of Japan, evoking a sense of Japanese tradition and playfulness.
The sight of all 14 works gathered in one place is simply spectacular.
Additionally, a special lottery will be held to give away the prize banners on display.
To commemorate the 60th anniversary of the Skyline, an indispensable model in the history of Nissan Motor Corporation, don't miss this "Grand Sumo Prize Banner" event, a first for the manufacturer.
