Honda Releases Brand Film "Life Sound Player" on March 31st, Using "Sound" as a Gimmick to Explore "Living" – A Companion Website Allowing Interaction with Sounds from the Film Also Launches Simultaneously
Honda has launched "Life Sound Player," a new initiative that expresses and delivers the value and aspirations it offers in "life" through the "sounds" that exist within it, beginning March 31 (Wednesday). A concept film expressing the worldview they wish to create through the sounds of life, and a special website featuring an interactive experience where users can play with sounds, have been released.
Coloring Everyday Life with Sound: The Vision Behind "Life Sound Player"
This video depicts the protagonist expanding their potential and living freely while valuing their individuality through sound, aiming to resonate with "today's people" who have diverse desires and joys.
The video showcases how the sounds of Honda's meticulously engineered machines—such as tillers, snow blowers, lawnmowers, and generators—blend with everyday noises and music, transforming the protagonist's life into something joyful, unique, and new.
Under the philosophy that "technology exists to serve people," Honda has pursued the "joy of being useful."
This sentiment is also expressed in their current 2030 Vision: "To provide everyone with the 'joy of expanding life's possibilities'—Leading the evolution of mobility and life for every person worldwide." As the business responsible for "life," Honda Lifecreation has continuously broadened its scope of usefulness since its inception, developing businesses in areas such as general-purpose engines, tillers, generators, snow blowers, lawnmowers, water pumps, outboard motors, and energy. To reintroduce the value and aspirations that Honda offers to a wider audience, beyond the framework of its products, they embarked on this project.

This video depicts sounds from everyday life being replaced by the sounds of Honda products like tillers, snow blowers, lawnmowers, and generators, gradually transforming into music, and the protagonist enjoying this world of sound. By creating a sense of musical dissonance and unexpectedness, we aimed for a video that viewers would want to watch repeatedly. The 1:1 aspect ratio was also intended to naturally immerse viewers through an interface familiar to today's audience.
