The "D Series," born on February 10, 2017, as Japan's first rotary shaver equipped with a 3-head gyro-cut system, is now expanding its reach with an increasing number of retail locations.
Izumi Manufacturing Co., Ltd., an electrical manufacturer founded in 1939, operates in two main businesses: electrical construction tools, handling everything from development to sales for electrical infrastructure, and home appliances, also covering development through to sales.
While manufacturing rotary shavers primarily for overseas OEM supply since 1977, the company began a full-scale rollout of its own brand shavers in 2008, celebrating its 60th anniversary in shaver development in 2016.
The "D Series," now entering full-scale deployment, features rotating outer blades that smoothly capture any beard, while the inversely rotating inner blades cut it swiftly. This results in a comfortable shave and efficient, fast cutting.
Furthermore, by incorporating the new "3-Head Gyro-Cut System," developed by leveraging years of manufacturing expertise, it achieves a unique shaving experience.
Japan's First: What is the 3-Head Gyro-Cut System!?
Focusing on the fact that approximately 20% of electric shaver users experience dissatisfaction due to shaving irritation or rough skin, as revealed by independent research. The "3-Head Gyro-Cut System," a first in Japan, utilizes outer blades that rotate in the opposite direction to the inner blades, minimizing skin resistance for an exceptionally gentle shave.
