In recent years, men's participation in childcare has become a social theme, with the emergence of men who actively cooperate in child-rearing, known as "Ikumen," and a trend toward increased parental leave for men.
Dove Men created this video with the desire to support "men who care for themselves, their families, and those around them, not just their careers."

This movie was released to coincide with "Ikumen Day" on October 19th, established to promote men's involvement in childcare, one aspect of men's caregiving. The video contains the thoughts and advice that men of today wish to pass on to the men of the next generation. The messages written for the next generation of men are all about realizing "the joy of caring for oneself and those around you."
