"SK-II STUDIO" is the first-ever film studio by skincare brand SK-II, creating and distributing content that confronts the various pressures faced by modern women through the power of film and storytelling. Global visual creators, animators, musicians, and content creators have gathered with a shared desire to bring positive change to the world, working on the production of various visual works.

Following the success of the live stream "VS Series Premiere Screening Event," held in conjunction with the release of SK-II STUDIO's second film series, "VS Series," the "VS Series Screening Event Part 2" will be held on Sunday, June 6, at 12:00 PM JST.

The live stream "VS Series Premiere Screening Event," held on May 1, has since recorded approximately 1.7 million views on Twitter Live and 70,000 views on YouTube Live, marking the highest viewership for a live stream by a beauty brand in Japan. Viewers commented, "I was inspired by the films," "I was deeply moved by the hosts," and "I wish it were longer."

Comedian Naomi Watanabe and video creator kemio will continue as hosts. For the second installment, new guests YouTuber HIKAKIN and model/talent Maria Tani will join to introduce the films live, sharing their thoughts on each work and discussing the various pressures that exist in society.

SK-II STUDIO's "VS Series" features six animated films based on the real-life experiences of six top athletes: Simone Biles, the most decorated American gymnast in history; Liu Xiang, a world record-holding swimmer; Kasumi Ishikawa, an Olympic medalist table tennis player; the gold medal-winning former badminton pair of Ayaka Takahashi and Misaki Matsutomo; surfer Mahina Maeda; and the Japan women's volleyball team, Hinotori Nippon. Each film depicts how they overcome various pressures to be perceived as perfect, and how they forge their own destinies.

All films in the "VS Series" can be viewed on YouTube and in the "SK-II Cinema" within "SK-II City," a virtual city inspired by the streets of Tokyo. Behind-the-scenes footage is also available in SK-II City.
