OKUTAMA+, a workation facility in Okutama Town, Tokyo, has renovated a former junior high school building. From February 19 (Fri) to April 30 (Fri), 2021, they are offering a "Remote Work Support Campaign" allowing limited to 100 people to use the coworking space as many times as they like for 1,000 yen. The campaign aims to help overcome "remote work fatigue" in a former junior high school building surrounded by the great nature of Okutama.

Remote work rapidly expanded due to the spread of COVID-19. However, issues such as poor home internet environments, lack of workspace in residential areas, and a sense of anxiety about the future have emerged, along with the term "remote work fatigue."

To escape this "remote work fatigue" and work amidst the rich natural environment of Okutama while avoiding crowded spaces, the "Remote Work Support Campaign" has been launched at OKUTAMA+.

OKUTAMA+ is located amidst the great nature surrounded by mountains and rivers, yet is only a 90-minute train ride from central Tokyo. It's a 15-minute walk from Kawai Station on the JR Ome Line. The facility is a renovated 35-year-old former junior high school building.

You can freely choose where to work, gazing at nature from a classroom or working alongside anatomical models in a science room, enjoying the nostalgic and unique atmosphere only a school can offer at OKUTAMA+.

Furthermore, accommodation is available, and if you bring your own ingredients, you can cook in the home economics room, making it possible to stay for a workation.
