The Nara Historical, Artistic and Cultural Village opened its doors on March 21st last year, offering a space to engage with Nara Prefecture's proud cultural heritage, including its history, art, and gastronomy.

Since its opening, under the theme "Cultivating Curiosity, Enjoying Discovery," we have focused on dialogue and interaction with our visitors, aiming to broaden their perspectives through hands-on experiences and foster the joy of learning something new. We are pleased to announce that March 21st, our opening day, will now be recognized as "Cultural Village Day." To commemorate our first anniversary, a diverse array of exhibitions and events will be held throughout the village from March 21st to May 28th.

To promote its first-anniversary initiatives nationwide, the village hosted a PR event on the 2nd (Thursday) at the Nara Mahoroba Hall in Minato-ku, Tokyo. The event featured comedy duo Warai-meshi, a native Nara Prefecture duo, sculptor Shirou Matsui, and Sento-kun, who shared the appeal of the Nara Historical, Artistic and Cultural Village's first-anniversary program.
