The snow resort "HOSHINO RESORTS Tomamu" is holding a "Moonlit Snowmobile Tour" for a limited time until March 2020. This is a special tour for one group per day, where participants can ride snowmobiles across the snowfields on and around the full moon, and admire the moon.

Tomamu, Hokkaido, is known for its abundant powder snow. In winter, not only is the temperature low, but the air is clear with little water vapor or dust, allowing for clear skies. HOSHINO RESORTS Tomamu has planned a special tour that combines snowmobiling on the snowfields with moon viewing in the snow.

The tour is held only on and around the night of the full moon. Guests can have the vast snowfield, illuminated by moonlight, all to themselves and ride snowmobiles freely. The tour includes guidance from a guide and instruction on how to operate the snowmobile, so even first-time riders can enjoy the exhilarating experience with peace of mind.

Partway through the tour, there is a "Moon Viewing Base" equipped with tents and a bonfire, and this year, a special seating area for moon viewing has been added for guests to relax on the snow. Furthermore, "Moon Harbor" offers drinks named after the moon, such as "Moonlight" whiskey and "Full Moon" sake. Sitting in this special viewing area on the snow, enjoying drinks under the moonlight, is a luxurious experience that will deepen your memories of Tomamu.
