Kaoru Inoue's Highly Anticipated Second Album, His First in Five Years
Album "SACRED DAYS" Released August 4
Five years have passed since Kaoru Inoue's debut album "The Dancer," which focused on dance music. Now, his second album "SACRED DAYS," a vibrant work befitting an artist who continues to reign at the top of Japan's club music scene and evolve, is set for release on August 4. This is an original creation that sublimates world music, jazz, and more.

Kaoru Inoue began his career under the name chari chari in the 90s, and his 2002 release "Aurora" became a global hit. He then released the album "The Dancer" in 2005.
The album "SACRED DAYS" features tracks such as "The Invisible Eclipse feat. Jebski," an elegant and beautiful house music track released in June as the second pre-release single, featuring Jebski; "Happenings," a memorable track with a catchy Spanish guitar phrase that garnered attention upon its release as a pre-promotion; and the floor-friendly minimal tech track "Ground Rhythm." The album skillfully blends ethnic music essences into Tech House.
Incorporating the organic and spiritual musical essences of his roots, these 11 tracks, sublimated into new dance music, will serve as a guidepost for dance music in the 2010s.

The album artwork, like that of "The Dancer," was handled by designer IPPI, who is active in creating numerous CD jacket and flyer designs, as well as graphic design for the apparel brand "is-ness." The music video for the lead track "The Invisible Eclipse" was created by visual artist Haruka Sakota, known for her work with ROVO's visuals and Floatribe, which is also a topic of discussion.
