An Evening to Savor the Magic of Bobby's Vocal Mastery

A "voice magician's" spell will envelop the club this spring.—Ten-time Grammy winner and genius Bobby McFerrin makes his first appearance at Blue Note Tokyo. The son of legendary opera singer Robert McFerrin, he released his first solo album in 1982. In 1988, "Don't Worry, Be Happy," a multi-tracked a cappella piece, topped the US charts, cementing his popularity. Simultaneously, he has garnered attention through collaborations with diverse musicians such as The Manhattan Transfer, Questlove, and his son, Taylor McFerrin.

On his latest album, "Spirituals," he explores spiritual and Americana sounds with support from artists like Esperanza Spalding. We look forward to an exceptional evening where we can fully appreciate the genius of Bobby, whose activities extend beyond singing to include conducting.
