From "Micro" to "Infinite"

Biotechnology is a general term for technologies that skillfully utilize the abilities and properties of living organisms to improve people's lives. Humans have long utilized its mechanisms, such as in fermented foods produced by microorganisms and breeding techniques to create disease-resistant varieties.

Since the 20th century, these have been further developed for applications such as the production of amino acids and the creation of innovative pharmaceuticals using genes and cells. It is a technology that observes life and stays close to each life and living, in other words, "LIFE SCIENCE."

The artist for the first installment of the "10 SOUNDS OF LIFE SCIENCE" project is musician Keiichiro Shibuya. In an interview, he shared his thoughts on the theme of "Biotechnology."

The track title is "Heavenly Puss Ver.01." From an introduction that tells a story led by a distorted synthesizer, a breakbeat rhythm track overlaps, ascending towards a peak.──The sound gives the impression of a microscopic world at the genetic and cellular level expanding infinitely. This audio can be streamed and downloaded on SoundCloud for a limited time.
