A night culture event, "The Shibuya Week 2026 PROLOGUE at SHIBUYA SKY," where music, night views, and people synchronize and mix, will be held on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, at "SHIBUYA SKY," an observation facility located on the upper floors of Shibuya Scramble Square.

SHIBUYA SKY is an observation facility composed of three zones: the transitional space "SKY GATE" on floors 14-45, the rooftop observation space "SKY STAGE," one of Japan's largest, and the indoor observation corridor "SKY GALLERY" on the 46th floor. It boasts a 360-degree panorama from 229 meters above ground, offering one of the top-class views in Tokyo. Beyond just a scenic spot, it is positioned as a "special composite observation device for Shibuya" that stimulates visitors' intellectual curiosity and imagination.

This event, "The Shibuya Week 2026 PROLOGUE at SHIBUYA SKY," is a prologue project for "The Shibuya Week," an annual fair themed around Shibuya culture held by Shibuya Scramble Square. "The Shibuya Week" is a project launched with the concept of transmitting the latest things, experiences, and moments from the heart of Shibuya, under the vision of "Declaring the World's Forefront."

The essence of this event is to gaze upon the same scenery and share the same time at the same height. Visitors naturally strike up conversations, fostering connections. Each person embodies the concept of "synchronize and mix" with their own sensibilities, enjoying the "space itself" as a sophisticated night culture. Against the backdrop of music and night views, it's a space that generates serendipitous encounters with strangers, broadcast from 229 meters above ground.

Tomoyuki Tanaka of FPM, active as a DJ and music producer, who is also involved in this event, says:

"Since its opening in 2019, I have been involved as the producer of the music lounge "Paradise Lounge" on the 46th floor of Shibuya Scramble Square. The concept I've nurtured since its inception is finally becoming a reality. The event features two stages: LIVE SIDE and PARADISE LOUNGE SIDE, and I was in charge of the direction for PARADISE LOUNGE SIDE. While a lineup of unique DJs will color the night, the LIVE SIDE also boasts an equally impressive roster. The number of attendees is managed to allow for ample space, designed for enjoying music and the night view in a relaxed atmosphere. The panoramic view of Tokyo and Shibuya from the 46th floor is breathtakingly spectacular."
