Introducing 'bonjour colette.', a Compilation of New French and Japanese Talent
Bonjour Records, the music select shop, collaborates with colette, the quintessential Parisian select shop! They are releasing 'bonjour colette.', a compilation album featuring new French and Japanese talent, in a limited edition of 2,000 copies on Saturday, April 12th.

A Musical Journey Connecting Tokyo and Paris
Bonjour Records and colette, both at the forefront of their respective scenes in Japan and France, have joined forces. 'bonjour colette.' features 14 artists selected by Toshitoshi Kamimura from Bonjour Records and Clément Vaché from colette, both buyers for their respective stores.
The album showcases an ambitious lineup, curated by discerning buyers, including the twenty-year-old indie musician 'stow,' who garners attention with every new release, and the Japanese duo 'Boys Get Hurt,' who craft their own unique dance music with influences from house and R&B.
Furthermore, 'Jesse Ruins' contributes 'Sleepless In Tokyo,' a track that captures the essence of a night in the city that never sleeps, creating a soundscape that evokes a musical journey connecting Tokyo and Paris.
The album's artwork, inspired by the blooming cherry blossoms, was created by Geneviève Gauckler, a French artist popular for her whimsical style. In addition to a limited release of 2,000 copies at each Bonjour Records and colette store, a digital version will be available on the colette website and iTunes. To celebrate the release, a party will be held at Yoyogi Village on Saturday, April 12th, coinciding with the cherry blossom season, with free admission.
