Nara's Art Offers Solace to Kizunaworld

Kizunaworld.org was founded by Ryuichi Sakamoto and media producer Tomoyasu Hirano, with the aim of continuously expanding the circle of support for the affected regions by soliciting donations for works provided by artists who endorse the project.

The newly added film captures the production process and artworks at Nara's studio. Nara himself commented, "When I see them like this, I realize that the fragments of everyday life that pass by so monotonously are, in fact, irreplaceable, happy moments." This work by Nara, who enjoys global support, can be downloaded by making a donation through kizunaworld.org.

At kizunaworld.org, collected donations are equally distributed to five chosen organizations for "Five Essential Support Areas" in the affected regions: medical care, children, food, housing, and energy. Starting October 1, the donation recipient for the "children" category has been changed to the "Children's Music Revival Fund," established with the slogan, "Bringing smiles to children through the power of music and instruments." This project supports the repair of numerous broken musical instruments and equipment for educational institutions in the affected areas, for children who have lost the opportunity to enjoy music due to the earthquake.
