Expect a Performance Even Greater Than Last Year's

Osibisa was formed in the UK in 1969, centered around Teddy Osei. This legendary Afro-rock band comprises members from various Afro-sphere regions, including the West Indies (Ghana, Grenada, Antigua, Trinidad, Nigeria).

Their signature sound fuses polyrhythmic Afro-beats with diverse musical elements like rock and funk, as heard in hits such as "Music for Gong Gong" and "Sunshine Day." Their influence extends beyond the early 70s UK rock scene, impacting the later disco boom and even contemporary dance music.

Last year's live performance, featuring catchy melodies delivered with electric piano, guitar, and a rich brass section, is still fresh in our memory. This year, they are sure to deliver another night of fervent Afro-beats and electrifying energy.
