SNIFF OUT 2013: A Festival Fusing Music and Art

SNIFF OUT 2013, an event where a music festival and an art festival merge, will be held on Saturday, July 20th and Sunday, July 21st at Hall 5 of INTEX Osaka in Suminoe Ward, Osaka City.

Spontaneous Performances and Live Events

SNIFF OUT 2013, unfolding with the fresh concept of collaboration between music and contemporary art, is set to begin. The artistic venue is divided into live, art, event, and even food areas, promising an unprecedented festival with a diverse range of content.

The music events, starting at 5:00 PM on July 20th and 4:00 PM on July 21st, will feature a lineup of accomplished musicians including Tatsuya Ishii, Ai Otsuka, and Kariyushi 58. Attendees can experience the chemical reaction between art and music. Additionally, a special talk live by Yusuke Iseya is scheduled for July 20th, from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM, in the event area.

The art area will feature booths from 30 renowned galleries nationwide and individual artists, alongside works by top artists such as Kenji Yanobe and Masakatsu Takagi. Furthermore, video works by Chim↑Pom, who have garnered significant attention in recent years, and Tekken's stop-motion manga will be screened. In the event and live areas, various spontaneous performances and live events will unfold, creating an atmosphere of anticipation for the unexpected.
