DJ KAWASAKI Releases Best Album『NAKED』
DJ KAWASAKI, a leading figure in the Japanese house scene, has released his first-ever career best album,『NAKED』, on Wednesday, May 29th. To commemorate the release of this best album, he will embark on a nationwide tour starting with a performance in Kobe on Saturday, June 8th. A release party with special guests will also be held on Friday, August 2nd, at TRUMP ROOM in Shibuya.

Experience the Essence of the "Kawasaki Beat" Anew
In 2005, DJ KAWASAKI gained attention when New York's legendary DJ Timmy Regisford played his then-demo track "BLAZIN'" three times in one night, leading to his global debut. In Japan, he made his major label debut in 2006 with production by Shuya Okino, quickly becoming a driving force behind the Japanese house movement.
Known for creating the distinctive rhythm called the "Kawasaki Beat," his previous releases have seen eight consecutive singles reach number 1 on the iTunes Dance Chart. He has also showcased his talent in various other fields, including remixing Towa Tei's works and producing Lina Fujii's album.
This is the highly anticipated best album from the artist. It features 13 tracks, including his representative hits, collaborations with diverse artists, and a new song "Shining" featuring bird, with whom he reunited for the 20th anniversary of Shibuya's club, now known as "Tamariba," THE ROOM.
The album's artwork was handled by Yasumasa Yonehara, a photographer and artist whose work, including previous DJ KAWASAKI releases, has garnered global attention as a purveyor of "girl" culture. The album embodies Japanese culture alongside its music.
With its light and uplifting Japanese house sound,『NAKED』touches the listener's heart. It is filled with beautiful melodies that showcase DJ KAWASAKI's core as a composer.
